COUNTING
I really like what Kiga Launegg has published about the work done in the class, teaching children to count with wood instruments and the markers. We will try to put into practise in our school. We are working also with Cuisenaire Rules, they colour and cut them and children must create different numbers with these rules. You can download our worksheet here.

COUNTING BATS.
Colouring and counting at the same time that we work in Art and have fun with Halloween celebration. Our children firstly work creating the bats, later the different teams (yellow, green, red...) introduce their own bats, explaining how many eyes, wings, legs and fangs have... An integrated activity. Finally we create the team work in a colaborative way. Great fun!.

Geometric Mobile
Geometry can be funny! After some oral games with children to remember the shapes, they have built a Geometric Mobile in a cooperative way. Each one chose one shape to decorate it with a face on it, finally wa reorganized it to order their names (rectangle, circle, square, triangle). After we finish it, new games could take place, such as: 'can you tell me what shape is it?', 'what is your favourite shape?', 'tell me the names of the shapes in orange or yellow?'. Enjoyment in the class.
